💓 Happy Weekend Reader,
I was really struggling this morning, thinking of what to write to help you feel seen, acknowledged, validated, and supported.
Sometimes it’s like that. A little writer’s block on a Saturday morning.
Then I thought about what my newsletter is really about—A Little Pick Me Up.
And then I remembered this.
This is a moment worth celebrating.
Jackie & Shadow, the bald eagles in Big Bear, just became parents to triplet baby eaglets. 🦅✨
A couple of years ago, they lost their eggs. 💔
Last year, they waited and waited… but nothing hatched. 😞
I was heartbroken for them. You could see how much this affected them.
But they kept showing up, kept trying.
And now?
🐣 Their third eaglet hatched early this morning. Three tiny babies, safe in the nest.
📹 Here’s a video of the hatching if you want to see the moment for yourself.
Their parents? They’re watching, feeding, adjusting—doing all the unseen work that makes growth possible.
And that’s what parenting really is, isn’t it? 🌿
Not about getting it right—but about showing up, making a million tiny adjustments, and hoping it all adds up. 💜
Some days, that feels impossible. 😞
But just like those eaglets, your kids don’t need perfect.
They just need you. 💖
No fixing, no forcing—just a quiet moment to breathe. 💆🏽♀️
Because even on the hardest days, this doesn’t have to be the way it stays.
Things can get lighter. Support does exist. And you’re not alone in this.

P.S. Friendly reminder: Set your clocks forward! ⏰ We might be groggy tomorrow, but hey—at least the extra daylight is coming. 🌅
